Our journey in the building industry has been profoundly shaped by our founder and CEO, Scott Bertolini. As a dedicated father and mentor, Scott instilled in us the values of hard work, responsibility, and creativity. My siblings and I learned early on the importance of perseverance and saving diligently for what we wanted. At a young age, my siblings and I came to truly value the sense of accomplishment that comes from achieving our goals through effort.

At just eight years old, I began helping out in home improvement projects, including painting baseboards and door casings for a local family. Encouraged by my parents, Scott and Lisa Bertolini, who nurtured my creativity from a young age, I was excited to contribute to the family-owned construction business. As I grew older, I took on additional responsibilities, including assisting on-site general contractors with residential demolition services and waste management coordination.

A significant milestone in my journey came at seventeen, when I attended a month-long JROTC camp at the Army Navy Military Academy in Carlsbad, CA. There, I developed lasting friendships and had the honor of leading the Drill Platoon in presenting the "manual of arms," which earned me ribbons and the rank of Private First Class (PFC). This experience profoundly shaped my path into adulthood.

In 2015, I came on board as Scott's Office Manager, handling contracts, invoices, payroll, and design work. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I left my 9-5 job to work from our family home in Huntington Beach, CA, alongside Scott. We made do with TV trays as our desks while developing the business plan that has become Bedrock Building Group™. Since then, my role has evolved, and today I proudly serve as a Co-Founder/Owner and Operations Manager for our company.

In 2023, our family-run team expanded with Jessa Bertolini joining as Scott's Executive Strategic Assistant, expertly handling contracts and proposals. Jean Bertolini also came on board, managing permits, submitting plans, and taking on the role of our elderly grandfather’s in-home caretaker.
​
As a family-operated business, we bring our shared values and commitment to every project. Our personal touch and dedication are evident in all we do. We are devoted to upholding Scott’s dedication to excellence by performing with the utmost professionalism and expertise, ensuring that his vision and hard work continue to pave the way for a bright future for our family and our clients.
